Dr. Dinesh Bhurani is a famous hematologist in India who specializes in bone marrow transplants. He has over 17 years of expertise in stem cell transplantation, which includes allogeneic, autologous, MUD (Matched Unrelated Donor), and Haplo Stem Cell Transplant. He acquired training and a fellowship in bone marrow transplantation from CMC Vellore and Australia.

He has performed more than 600 transplants at the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre. Furthermore, Dr. Dinesh Bhurani carried out the first haplo transplant in North India. He is India’s first DM of Haematology from Christian Medical College, Vellore, and has led the department since 2007.
